out the white buildings and then tried to be bold with the first washes of
color over my drawing to set the stage for that light effect. I thought I
overdid it until they dried and turned a little lighter. Adding the darks
brought it back into balance. I am happy with the final light effect. As
always, I see a couple of things that I would change. I wish I had made the arrangement
of dark spruces on the left a little different. The spacing tends to echo the
triple windows above them more than I would like.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

space in that shadow needed more interest and some darker shapes. Have to be
