There are still parts of our property that are too wet to mow so you can imagine what that looks like! Now it is hot and steamy but still wet with violent thunder storms each night.</P>

<P>For me this year's weather hasn't been so much of an issue. Beginning in April and continuing now, I have been dealing with presurgical hip problems and now postsurgical total hip recovery. Even though I've done a great deal of sitting around, my mental state precluded doing any painting. I am sure when this is over, I'll wonder why the heck I didn't try to paint. I keep thinking, maybe tomorrow. </P>

<P>I never was a very patient person so the need for patience now to just let myself heal, is hard to come by. It's been two weeks since surgery and I know I have possibly months ahead before feeling like myself. I better not waste all this time!</P>
