'close up' (for me)... is that it is a useful way to study
detailed pieces and parts of a painting, i.e. detail of a
hand (a full portrait of a young girl holding her 'violin' at
her side)... studying the young hand and fingers has become an
intricate WATERCOLOR study of just her hand....thus, a 'close up'!
