<P>This is a design sketch based on a realistic watercolor, playing with color
and distortion. </P>Nita Leland <BR><BR><B>Hi Nita, this is very
interesting! I have yet to try something like this, I guess<BR>I'm
intimidated by the style! Would not know where to begin. I like
the 3 primaries,<BR>and one place, on the red jug, where you have put a dark
blue shape on it, looks<BR>like one can discern that it is a spot that is
open, with blue underneath. Proves that<BR>cool colors recede and warm
ones advance!<BR></B><BR>"Orchidaceae Phalaenopsis"<BR><EM>10" x

<P>This painting was done after a trip to our beautiful Botanical Garden in
Montreal. I took over 350 photos on my digital camera and I always try to go a
couple of times a year. It is a pleasure for the eyes and all our senses to
visit this place. I wanted to show the delicate beauty of this flower up close
and personal. </P>Lorraine Arsenault <BR><BR><B>Lorraine, this is
exquisite. Such depth, light and shadow, and detail, and yet it hangs
together beautifully.<BR>Of course, I love it that you have it lit by the
sun! <BR></B><BR>"Prettiest of all"<BR><EM>10" x 10"<BR>Watercolor;

<P>I love it when my apple tree blooms in spring - it's a big old tree that
fills up most of my window. Hardly a year goes by that I don't immortalize a
blossom or two. </P>Mary Doane <BR><BR><B>This is delicate and lovely,

placing something between the two shells in upper left or not? Ideas? Thanks
for the opportunity! </P>Barry Launius <BR><BR><B>Barry! This is pure
inspiration and a show stopper for sure. I hope you will enter this in a

</P>Lorraine P. Dietrich, iaf, news <BR><BR><B>Tres bien, Lorraine! This
is lovely, the pearls add the exact note to make this sing, the way you draped
them is perfect for the painting, and<BR>you made them look like I could pick
