<DIV>I am in the middle of a piece on aquabord now, my first experience with it so I can't give an opinion on fixative. But, I like the board, I think. You can wash out anything, even the staining colors, right back to the white. I used a toothbrush to get the deepest stains out and I don't think it affected the surface.</DIV>

<DIV>For me, the ability to wash anything and everything out is a mixed blessing. The piece I'm working on has undergone so many transformations that I can't even remember what it was when I started! </DIV>
