<DIV>I am not sure what the problem is - sometimes the greatest paintings just sit there because the rightful owner has not come along yet.</DIV>
<DIV>On the other hand, there seems to be a competition for focal point in this painting: the largest flower against the dark background is one, and then the light bud against the dark background appears to be another. Also there is a lot of that dark background in the upper part with not too much interest. Everything seems concentrated down into the bottom part of the painting as though it is a bit squished.</DIV>
<DIV>Each of the individual elements, the quality and treatment of the flowers and the bud are very lovely, as is the treatment of the background. Reconfiguring it may help it a lot. Hope this helps. Valerie Kent<BR><BR></DIV>
