I didn't say size is important; I simply
wondered about the picture's size. One of my all-time favorites among
my watercolors is a portrait of my granddaughter that is 6" x 9". When I think
of all the teachers who nagged me to work full sheets (and I did for a long
time) I sometimes wonder how many smaller "gems" I might have painted. Memo to
all artists: It doesn't have to be big!

little problem with the chin. Rather than redo the
>> whole
painting, as it might lose some its freshness, see if you can
>>
lift some of the red color on the chin below the highlight
>> and
soften the dark line around the mouth a little, as well. You don't

"micro-adjustments." Then, to define the chin, slightly darken the

wondering
>> what it's dimensions are.
>>
