I was really taken by George P. with his close up of a gas connection on a greek street.  So precise - I will never be able to be that careful when I am doing plein-Air.

Its like going on vacation on your computer! My personal favorite is that stunning piece called "Early Morning Bridge St. Melbourne." Something about the balance between realism and the looseness of the paint is just exceptional. I particularly like the sepia shadows on the right contrasted with the luminous sky and atmospheric haze on the left. The sky just says "dawn" to me. Beautiful.  


Thank you all for sharing. Incidentally, I've never been to Ayvalik but I sure would like to go—how great to see watercolorists enjoying the world so thoroughly.
