Hi Louise:  I, too, would like to paint eggs & shells, after viewing yours.  Wouldn't it be an interesting challenge to paint them many times, perhaps varying the setting, & using as many colour variations as one could think of?   Well done!!  Cheers, June Haynes

Hello Louise,
 
I love the colors that you used and your washes are very well done.  What is bothering me is the shape of your whole egg in the middle.  I feel as if the top half is not quite oval, it seems to have a malformation in the top middle.  The bottom half seems to be perfect.  It might be just my eyes but that is what I see.  
 
I love the two egg pieces to the left, the contrast between the inside and the outside of the shell.
 
It makes me want to try this subject!  I had already seen it, in a more white version but yours is very interesting too.
