VERNISSAGE ON NOVember 08 AT 1h00 PM, WELCOME 



THE ARTIST WILL PAINT AT THE GALLERY ON NOV. 21 AND 22, TO CELEBRATE THE WORLDWIDE WATERCOLOR DAY. 



Lorraine P. Dietrich, IAF, NEWS, received awards and distinctions from eminent jurys in Canada and abroad. For more than 20 years, she has been drawing and painting flowers and still life subjects from life and only uses colours with excellent lightfastness properties on high quality watercolour papers. Her paintings, showing a personal style, are appreciated in many countries and she exhibited 25 paintings in France last Spring. Her works are part of many permanent collections in Museums in the province of Québec and other collections in America, Europe and Asia.



She has been selected as finalist by the North East Watercolor Society's International Juried exhibition, presented at Kent Art Gallery, CT, in  New-York area, ( oct 25 - nov 08 ). Even Signature Members have to submit works for that international exhibition because the jury select very high caliber paintings. In 2001, Lorraine Dietrich was the first elected Signature Member outside the U.S.A. by that national organization. She was also elected Signature Member and Life Member of Institut des Arts Figuratifs, based in Canada.



Next  December, some of her paintings will be part of an exhibition at the Education Department of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki in Greece. This exhibition is an international statement for peace and a program of conferences for non-violence will be presented.
