Well done - nice colour, great composition and a very well painted 
background - I'm surprised that this is the largest sixe that you have 
painted.  Next challenge - try a full sheet!!  Re the Soto technique 
with which I am not familiar, David Taylor, well known Melbourne 
watercolourist who has bee my teacher on a couple of workshops, says 
"Underpaint - Fairy paint - scribble!   It sounds like a similar system.
