[Aquanet] May flowers

All;
Upon some reflection, I think that an explanation of my response to
Lorraine is due.
What I find "offensive" and what set me off, is the statement that
this is in some way "an exclusive club" - In my opinion, NOTHING could
be further from the truth, I bend over backwards (and tie myself in
knots) to make this accessible to all and have never, as far as I
know, held any "favorites" or maintained any sort of "inner circle."
If people feel that there is evidence to the contrary please feel free
to respond citing such - I can take it and can learn from mistakes.

Lorraine contacted me on the 10th - basically asking me "how do I
submit an image" to which I replied that she should ask the list for
help. that is what the list is for - I simply cannot and will not
walk [potentially] 300+ people individually through how to send email
or send personalized instructions in response to each query. At 1
minute each, a conservative estimate, that would be up tp 5 hours (a
month?) spent repeating the same information that I have probably
already spent significant time distributing to the list at large.

Instead of asking the list for help, the next thing I saw was this
accusation that there must be some sort of elitism or cronyism at play
- which I find to be an unfair and incorrect inference.

Again, Lorraine you and anyone else are welcome to follow the
instructions to send in images, to ask questions and post commentary
to the list and to enjoy the work of your fellow members.

---Raymond
