Thank you. I?will keep that in mind. Too often I am afraid to push on once?I got the effect I wanted. I don't want to mess it up. I've got to read up on those value registers and warm colors, etc.

Your painting is a beautiful example of "high-key" painting, which establishes a mood using only the upper value registers. I like this effect very much. I do think that the misty feeling of the sea and sky would be enhanced by pushing the foreground into the next darker value step and very slightly warming the colors of the near rocks. I love the red beach flowers, sparsely scattered on the foreground.
