[Aquanet] So ... what best embodies "close up" to you?

While I like them all for various reasons, my choice is "Equine eye of  
the beholder"

Why?  It took me a moment to realize what it was that I was looking  
at, being such a tight detail, and I really liked that the painting  
shook my brain up a little.

Add to that closeness and isolation of the eye the bridge provided  
between this "micro" world of detail and the "macro" world represented  
by the reflection and this image really presents the detail as a  
separate thing than the world that it is part of.
