To everyone who wrote with kind wishes for a quick recovery, I thank you all.  As always, your thoughts and suggestions for best dealing with my situation were wise and helpful. 



I resolve to stop feeling sorry for myself, be more patient, let myself heal.....and paint. 



If I've learned anything from this ordeal it is to be grateful for every day of good health, and to recognize that this too shall pass!
