Well, I can tell you what I see in the Royal Institute (RI) exhibitions. He still paints landscapes and very good ones. 


He is certainly well respected there (in RI, London)..

 

It was back in 2006, I was still candidate of the RI for the fifth year in a row and it is extremely difficult to become a (signature) member of the RI... Then, in the 2006 RI exhibition, I found that my paintings were hung next to Prince Charles' paintings... I thought this might have meant something.. And it did. It was the year that I was finally elected member of the RI...


 

Well, back to your question, all the paintings I have seen by HRH Prince Charles were of landscapes, seascapes etc... Realistic, figurative approach, traditional..."british"...
