Hi Cia,
Just read of the problem.
First ---leave it alone for a few days and just let it rest.
It might not be a problem at all.
But problems do appear even when CAREFUL removals are tried. You might try a
different blue on the background--not sure which one you used, but some will
cover better. Not sure what paper but assume it was at least 140 lb. In a
final attempt you might cover with gouache or arcylic--maybe that will work.
Or just play up the blotches and add a few more in the background.
Some of your backgrounds have such good variety they handle blotches and
looked planned.
