[Aquanet] Chatting AGain

I am still trying to get back up to speed after spending more than a week in the dark and cold home by the gas log fireplace (that cannot heat well without the blower going).  The massive ice storm in Northern Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky was not a pleasant experience.  Am happy to have electricity again this past Friday.  So, needless to say, creativity was on the back burner.

It has turned out to be a lovely day here, although it was cold and overcast early this morning.
Anybody ever had a slump where everything you tried didn't seem worth the paper it was painted on?
Happening to me.  But I will just keep on.  I know things will get better.

I think that Ray said we could post some images.  So here's my latest that I ain't ashamed to let you see!


This is a 5" x 7" painting.  Believe me it was so difficult to get all those petals in at that size!
I call it Sun-Shy Peony.  I used 140 lb. cold press bright white paper.  This is one of those
that I mentioned in my earlier post.
