[Aquanet] another question and thanks for the feedbackonpalettes

Nita's approach -- having students fill out a feedback form -- is what I use
with classes I teach (although they're not art classes). The replies remain
anonymous since the students don't sign their names. And instead of handing
their completed forms to me, I have the students leave them on a desk as
they depart the classroom. That works well with overly sensitive types who
may be concerned that you'll read their feedback sheet when they hand it to
you.

I didn't think to mention this before. I used to pass out a class evaluation
form at the end of the session, which they didn't have to sign. See
attachment and use it if you like. This was very helpful. They're more
likely to answer honestly if you don't know who wrote it. Just don't take
the responses personally. I had one class in which 24 of 25 responses were
glowing. The 25th one sounded like I was Attila the Hun and a lousy, mean
teacher. You can't please everyone--I guess you already said that!
