  Hi, gang.

I have Carol's permission to share this anecdote with you.

Yesterday I got a call from a colleague of Ken's in the British Virgin Islands who had his client, unknown to me, on the line also. He was calling on a Skype phone and they are notoriously BAD. Ken has one. He asked me what I was doing when he called. I told him planting Amaryllis bulbs. He asked where I got them. I told him I ordered them on-line. He said I can't believe you actually paid for them and that they even sell them. Now I was confused. He asked how many I got and how much they cost. I told him I ordered nearly $300.00 worth and I was keeping 20 and giving the others away as Christmas presents. He asked what I was going to do with them and I told him I was going to use them as models in my new series of paintings. By then he was about choking. I was even more confused.

Well, when he hung up he called Ken in Rio and told him how much he enjoyed talking to me and how entertaining I was and that is certainly some interesting art I was doing. Poor Ken had to call to find out what was going on. Bill didn't hear Amaryllis Bulbs, he heard Armadillo Balls.
