Hi, Cecilia.

First off, congratulations on the successful surgery. Chronic pain is so 
hard to deal with. At any one time it's usually manageable, but over 
time it just grinds one down and down and down. I'm so pleased you are 
over it.

I don't remember the previous versions of sunlit roses, but this 
painting is magnificent. Perhaps your release from pain has shown also 
in the  work. I think I'd call this piece Resurrection were I you.
