Judy, Liz says digitalbraintrust, so sounds like that's gonna be the one I use.

I'm thinking then that this ground completely does away with what I've always called "paper fear" -- I get it to a degree every time I face a really expensive large piece of watercolour paper (the circular, feather deckle Twinrocker, for instance), as a mistake you can't cure seems to wait for such moments.  The idea that you can absolute delete a wrong move is almost contrary to the basic (old) rules of watercolour!

And of course, whenever I get a supply of something new, I'm going to mess with some of it just sort of playing, and maybe not ending up with anything at all except experience, and confidence that I'll do better on the next piece of it?  Let us know what you decide on the sealant, and how difficult it is to apply without drool, not to mention if it drastically changes the look of the image?

In an effort to cut costs, framing under glass is certainly one I'd like to deep-six, at least for some things.  But I've tried some other mediums and they just are not watercolour, for brilliance and fun, despite the fact that they don't have some of the problems.  So, I'll get some Aquaboard, as it sounds like it is as advertised; if you can let us know what kind of sealant you get, I'll get the other one, and we can do a comparison for the list!

  I'm confused about the address too!  I've used both cleverwhiz and digitalbraintrust.  

  I am in the middle of a piece on aquabord now, my first experience with it so I can't give an opinion on fixative.  But, I like the board, I think.  You can wash out anything, even the staining colors, right back to the white.  I used a toothbrush to get the deepest stains out and I don't think it affected the surface.

  For me, the ability to wash anything and everything out is a mixed blessing.  The piece I'm working on has undergone so many transformations that I can't even remember what it was when I started!  

  I have a feeling that I could work and rework this ad infinitum.  I probably should have stuck with my original idea instead of wandering all over the place.  

  I'll let you know if I ever get a finished product out of this.
