[Aquanet] watermedia on foil

 Carla O'Connor does abstract figure paintings on paper that is 
initially coated with gold gesso. (available only at Daniel Smith, as 
far as I know). http://www.carlaoconnor.com
Many of the paintings in her "recent art" gallery are done this way.  
She uses gouache and watercolor over this,  no acrylics. She has a new 
video at CCP videos that demonstrates this technique.
