Sigh....I liked variation 2, a bit stronger contrasts from the #1, but the rest....???what happened ...no similarities to the first two.

Hi, gang.

A while ago, I asked for suggestions on strengthening a painting I had 
done, and many of you generously took the time to offer compliments, 
criticisms and suggestions... and I do appreciate that.

At the Flik'r site (http://www.flickr.com/photos/30425828@N04/ ) I have 
added three new variations to the original. Unfortunately, the original 
no longer exists as I worked on it to create Variation 2. I'm sort of 
kicking myself as I'm not sure if I have improved it or not. In any 
event, the images are there for comments.
