Check Google for making Christmas Cards. The first one I opened about
snowflakes reminded me of an all white painting I did . Using pale
pastel colors for all the value changes just as you do for white flowers
or eggs, I used a lace doily as a stencil and created soft snowflakes.
Leaving an area blank off center (or in the center if you like), I
painted a cute face. You could put anything you like in that space- a
deer, a tree , shiny ornaments, a candle, an angel, a white poinsettia
flower . They could cut the opening and paste a design from an old
Christmas Card on the underneath flap so it peeks through the snow
flakes. Not everyone will want to do the same thing so have plenty of
other suggestions. The hundreds of suggestions on the internet may seem
very childish and simple but that's what you need for this type of
project.
