Re: [Aquanet] Fw: paint brands?Bonjour,
I am not pleased, I feel wonderful about all those nice comments. If someone else want to send more, I will be happy to add his/her message to the others. Words are not easy for me in English, but I hope my deepest thanks will reach everyone , it is really something I appreciate very much.
Yes I love Mozart but maybe Barry Lindley and I will meet on Rachmaninoff or Ravel ??
George's message just gave me a brilliant idea, maybe I should spray a perfume with many floral essences just before we open the doors to the public ?
That is true, I love music while painting and that could be concertos , symphonies, choirs, I have my days with Brazilian music, Sting, Pink Martini and many excellent singers/authors in French like Francis Cabrel, Michel Rivard, Zachary Richard who is Acadian and lives in Louisiana USA but sings in French. And what about the divas, Maria Callas, Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, the divine Ella. I prefer Celine Dion in French, less glamorous, she has more deepness in her voice in French, also Isabelle Boulay .... Each one is a part of my life, bringing beautiful voices and sounds to my solitude and helping me to get into a better poetic, romantic or jazzy mood. Then, the way I look to flowers is changing into a more expressive perception. Somedays, I feel awful, thinking about all the everyday problems that occur in life. These days, I listen to Robert Schumann piano concerto , amazing how this music does to me ! It works everytime. My CDs' collection is getting impressive.
My implication in art is because I love art and artists. If someting good happens to another artist, I'm happy because his/her success shines all over the ART profession. Day by day, some artists became something like a new family for me. I like the way they think, I like the way they are, I like the way they paint and do sculptures. They can feel marvelous and enthousiastic just because a new color came on the market ! I like the way they see life, how they can stay true to themselves over years, I simply love them.
Many many thanks for all those beautiful messages and letters sent to me. As I said before, I will put them in my album, it will be displayed on a table at the exhibition, along with some photos, artistic resumé and newspaper and magazine articles. When that exhibition is over, I will keep the messages and read them during my bad days, the days I think that it's a crazy and violent world, the days I think that watercolour has such a long way to do here to gain recognition and appreciation by the public, the days I find out that women in art are still not seriously respected by the public.
Still lots of things to do until the opening day.... So I leave you for now, hoping that your inspiration is good.
Vive l'Aquarelle,
