I have also heard that because watercolors need glass or plexiglass 
protection, which is highly reflective, they are a problem in 
contemporary homes which tend to have large windows and doors. The 
increased light makes it difficult to preventing reflections. The new 
surfaces like Aquabord and clayboard can be sealed I understand and 
there may be other options out there to be considered.
