[Aquanet] Why asking appreciation messages

Some people asked me why I did ask for "love letters" (appreciation messages about my works)

I'm just trying to convince people and visitors that watercolor is an excellent medium and that I am trying my best to work it into good paintings. Once, a Winsor & Newton representant told me that my area is the worst place in North America to sell watercolour tubes... !! Watercolour medium is recent in Quebec, maybe 30-40 years old. In USA it is quite known and accepted, thanks to many excellent magazines who present good artists working in watercolour.

Here, sometimes, I think that I'm trying to sell Japanese poetry to Norvegian people. The perception of looking at it is still "kiddie's paints" for many people .... Many wc artists are working in symposiums to meet people and let them know it is an excellent medium. Société Canadienne de l'Aquarelle annual "Salon" helps. Progess has been made but still a lot of education needs to be done, even in art centers who exhibit paintings etc.

I thought those messages of appreciation would help. I'm not fishing to catch a big ego....
Here is the message again if you change your mind.
Please send your messages to me, not to the list

Would you like to be part of my album in my next solo exhibition ??

On a table, I will add a special album with souvenirs,
photos, color samples etc....

Send me a text about my works. I need love letters !!!
http://www.artsquebec.com/en/html/oeuvre_artiste.asp?ida=1227

You know about painting so it will be nice having comments
from people with fine art background....

Ideas :
What do you think about them, what are your feelings when you look at them.
What are your comments about the composition, style, design, drawing, color
scheme, subjects, what is your favourite painting ?? and what about the
artist, etc.

Add your name and your city, country (add your photo if you wish)

Some will be translated in French but I will add the english version.

Your kindness is welcome.
