I got the same e-mail yesterday.  I guess he must be going through all the artists' websites on the Internet and hope that somebody falls for his sales pitch.  He also mentioned one of my paintings but this is a method that is used frequently by art scams or other artists (add a con before the last word!!!).

  I recently received an email from a David Thibos, Director of Merchandising, WiseRep.com -- wondering if any of you have heard of this company.  It looks like they take your work and sell it through different companies for you.  I was surprised to receive such an advertisement since I haven't been that active lately.  Although, it is obvious that he's been to my website and seen one of my better pieces, which was mentioned in his email.  It feels kind of creepy!
