[Aquanet] my recent painting

Hi, gang.

Some of you may re,member that I have been struggling to do some decent 
work since getting back at the studio after a long layoff. In 
frustration, I decided to return to 'basics', so I chose a photo from my 
collection, a place we picnicked one fresh fall day. I painted one 
version realistically, being much truer to colour and shape than I have 
been.. I thought it needed modification, so changed it... and did that 
again. Finally, deciding that I could do better yet, I abandoned the 
original paper and painted the scene anew. I need to live with the 
maybe-final version for a bit, but the whole set is viewable at this site:
