Hi, Simos.

I know what it's like to have a painting up and get little response, so
I'm jumping in. Unfortunately, this piece is quite different from what I
do and from what I am acquainted with, so I cannot comment on the "feel"
of it.

Regarding composition, however, I think it works quite well. The dark
blue/purple at the bottom serves as an effective anchor to give a sense
of solidity to the base. I also like the way you have Europa sited; that
is, she appears to be emerging from a darker mass, and it is her face
that is then outlined against the lighter background. IMHO, this works
very well as this is where the ye is immediately drawn.

I also very much like your palette for this work: the effect of the
blue/purple against the yellow/orange is a good use of complements.

It is probably the small reproduction on my less-than-state-of-the-art
monitor, but my eye wants to follow the diverging lines emanating from
Europa the Moon back to the source, but I cannot make out what is hidden
in the dark mass. I'm sure this would not be as confusing/frustrating in
the original.

Well done,
pat
