You may add a sentence like that in the consignation agreement. This way, if
there is a bankrupt , they can't hold your paintings as part of the gallery
bankrupcy.
" The paintings (and frames) listed above (or below) belong to the artist
until a sale occurs. "
It's a good idea to visit your galleries or make a phone call regularly,
even when the business is doing well. A short visit or short call show them
you are a partner.
