[Aquanet] Returning

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. It's much appreciated.

 

Bev - You're right, one of the side benefits of moving often is the chance
to get to see a lot of the country and make friends along the way. Although,
I've reached the point in life where making the actual move - packing,
moving, unpacking - has gotten very, very old.

 

Lorraine D. - Thanks for the studio set-up tips. I do have a separate area
for my computer and other office equipment, so it won't have to share space
with my painting gear. Woohoo!

 

Pat - Believe me, I lucked out with the natural light, especially since most
basements feature dungeon-like mood lighting. Having any appreciable natural
light where I paint (except for outside, on location) is a first for me, so
it's a real bonus. And, yes, making new paintings is my goal.

 

Lorraine E. - Thanks for the "crawl" offer. I'd definitely like to do that.
It sounds like fun. There are certainly a lot of attractive locations to
choose from that won't require a long drive for either of us. Let's stay in
touch and maybe we can get together for a "plein aire" session.
