Perhaps it would be best to clarify that not all painters on the dp  paint a 
painting a day.  They paint everyday and post a painting when  completed.    I 
have been painting a daily painting each day  since August 2006 but this is 
not a requirement to be a member.  Most  painters do not finish a painting 
everyday.  They do post three or  four paintings (on average) a week it seems.

Hello,
I  am a newbie here but I have been painting all my life. I have been 
doing  watercolors for about five years now.
I would love to do the painting a day  but my problem is finding 
something I want to paint on a daily basis. Do  others of you have that 
problem? I do paint every day but usually on  something that will take a 
week or so to finish.
I also think the Yahoo  group idea is a good one.
