You could also participate in the Scavenger Hunts over on www.wetcanvas.com.
Every 9 days or so, someone posts a new list of 25 or 26 items to draw
during the next 9 days. Participants post their drawings and encourage each
other. I've drawn more in the past year than I have in years because of the
scavenger hunts!  It's hard for me to get out my painting equipment and
accomplish a full painting (because of time and space limitations right
now), but I can sketch just about any time and anywhere, and keep my hand
and eye active. It's also fun!

That is such a great idea for at least 26 days, but you could continue that
theme and ask others that you know to take five minutes to write down their
alphabet of ideas.  Also I saw an exhibit once where someone had painted the
sky every day of the year -- 365 mini paintings!!!  It was amazing because
each one was truly different.

I'm getting excited and think I'll start tomorrow with my own list of 26
ideas.
