Hi All
Since I will also be leading two workshops in France and did one last summer I can only give the suggestions we used. I am sure Fred will give you a list of supplies, etc.
What we found helpful was to pack all the tubes into clear plastic pencil cases with zippers so customs could easily see what they were. The same for the brushes. We took foam trays or plates for palettes because we were concerned about weight. We did not carry any supplies onto carry on. Everything had to go into checked luggage. We took sketchpads and one foam core sheet folded, cut to the size of the bottom of each person's suitcase and made it into a light portfolio, taped 3 sides with duct tape for carrying paper. We also used it as a painting board and taped our paper on it with masking tape. We rolled duct tape and made handles. We improvised and carried folding doggie water containers from the pet store which we used for water and a folding water bottle from Tilley. I need to check pet store and see if they have those as well for this year's trip. The operative word was "light". Suntan lotion - hat. Please ask if I left out anything. Valerie Kent
