Well, you just gave me a chuckle, because while I have changed a few
things on my website, I probably haven't added any new work for maybe
4 or 5 years. I just started a blog last December, and have used it
to put up some new stuff, since I feel I have to really completely
redesign the website. So, yes I have let my website molder, but it
was life, not blogging that made the website move to the back burner.
If I could just get enough money from painting to do only that!
I do have a blog link from the front page of the website now, and I
just uploaded some other paintings - though 2 are oils.
About ways to get higher google ratings - I just don't know. I didn't
plan to have a hyphenated name. Plus people have to actually know the
name before they search for it. If you search for Watercolor, I am
way in the back of the pack.

What a chuckle, after all the "hints" I've read about how to get your name
higher up on Google!
Otherwise, I remember the dial-up days, and think that for the times, it was
a great idea. I know a lot of folks are going to the blog sites and leaving
their web pages moulder, but aside from a very few that I find interesting
to read, I don't think a blog takes the place of a good site.
I'm currently finding that my old site, www.ThreeMermaids.com comes up under
my name on Google, but not my new one, at least the last time I checked. Go
figure................
Be interesting to see what Pat decides to do insofar as building his site,
and I bet it will twice as much fun to see the results!
