[Aquanet] product question

I've had the best luck with medical gauze after making it irregular, to twist it or crumple/roll it before it goes on the paper.  I still don't think it is as much fun as crumpled Handi-wrap or similar, however.................

  Maxine Masterfield writes and demonstrates the beautiful textures that happen when different types of material and gauze as well as sea shells are laid into wet washes and allowed to dry.  I think it is in her first book, the name escapes me now, and in her video.
