[Aquanet] product question

Maxine Masterfield writes and demonstrates the beautiful textures that  
happen when different types of material and gauze as well as sea shells are laid  
into wet washes and allowed to dry.  I think it is in her first book, the  name 
escapes me now, and in her video.
 
I have tried it before and have gotten some nice effects
