Thought I'd add my two cents:  my husband and I met Lorraine and her husband, Jean-Paul, many years ago and have kept in touch over the years.  Yes, Lorraine is a wonderful person, ever so talented, and so giving in so many ways.  We miss being able to see her and making the trek up to Trois Rivieres, Quebec -- Florida is a long way from Quebec.  Next summer, we'll be back up in Vermont and hope to be able to get together again.

  Hi Aquanet members,

   

  Just a few lines to let you know that two of your members met last night.  Our art association, AAPARS (Association des Artistes Peintres Affiliés de la Rive-Sud) were lucky enough to have Lorraine Dietrich as our guest artist.  I was looking forward to meeting this artist whose work I have enjoyed for so long.  Not only is she a great artist but she is also a great person with a great sense of humour.  She is very generous with her advice, recommendations and explications.  The few hours that we shared, with many other artists, was a joy for everyone and went by too quickly.
