Welcome Lisa.  I'm fairly new and have little time to read the messages
much less answer, but I have learned a lot from the gang.  
I love Cerulean Blue and use it in almost every painting- but sparingly. 
I use only Windsor Newton brand paints so am not familiar with the
others. Used with lots of water it is good for lower part of skies, for
filling in sky holes in trees that are too white and for the grays of
concrete, stucco etc. Mixes well with Cad Orange which is also very
opaque.
