  Save your memories to share since I will be leading a painting/winetasting/art appreciation cruise of 7 days along the Rhone in Provence plus 4 days in Aix en Provence July 26 to Aug. 7th.  
  I am very excited and hope to get some good sketching/painting done too.

Has anyone on the list travelled in Southern France in May and/or June? 
I'm thinking specifically of the area from Limoges south to Bordeaux and 
then along the Canal du Midi. What is the weather likely to be like? Are 
there flowers blooming? Lavender? (I have no idea when it blooms, but 
I've seen photos/paintings of it in S. Fr.)
