Hey, gang.

Following the tropical island query, I'll come up with one of my own: 
Has anyone on the list travelled in Southern France in May and/or June? 
I'm thinking specifically of the area from Limoges south to Bordeaux and 
then along the Canal du Midi. What is the weather likely to be like? Are 
there flowers blooming? Lavender? (I have no idea when it blooms, but 
I've seen photos/paintings of it in S. Fr.)
