Hi
I only use Incredible White Mask, I tried many brands, it stays fresh for a
long time and has a very good performance. It is very clear so I add some
burnt sienna into it to give it a pale beige color, so I see what I'm doing.
Instead of a regular brush, you can also try and old but very clean oil
brush to put it , this way the masking fluid will be irregular for special
effects. Try on a scrap piece of watercolor paper before , try also with
toothbrush, q-tips toothpicks etc.... you will get different results. If you
try it with a natural sponge , wash it soon after.
Let it dry completely (no hairdryer). If you want some loose colors, wet the
paper and then paint. Let the paint dry completely before taking off the
masking fluid. Don't wait more than a few days to remove the masking fluid.
If you wait too long, it could sink into the paper.
Vive l'aquarelle.
