Pat:
If you store your bottle of masking fluid upside down, it will not dry out.
I use mine infrequently, and it is still good after 2 years. Also, do not
leave it upcapped while using as this dries it out quickly. One other
thing, do not use a blow dryer when using masking fluid, the heat sets it so
it is really hard to remove.
A friend of mine uses a light green crayon to put stems on a bouquet in a
vase. I must say it worked well, she just painted over it and it looked
good.
