The attraction was the 'lineup' of children at a concession stand in Belize. I have never attempted such a scene before, and of course, was short on doing children of different ages. Not paying much attention to proportions, I merely attacked the subject matter. Hope that tells you what the attraction for this subject was?...thanks for your interest and good points to boot. I knew something was not right.

Hi, Virginia... and all.
The first question I'd ask, Virginia, is what attracted you to the
scene? If we know that, then we can give a better critique.
I admire your gumption at tackling people as this is one area I
generally have a lot of trouble. Strangely enough, I do well in my life
drawing class, but when I attempt to insert people (with clothing) into
a landscape, things get ugly. As I said, I admire your courage.
I would suggest you take another look at proportions. Children may be
different, but in adults the legs are about the same length as the torso
and head. With two of your figures, this holds; with the others, to my
mid they are "leg-challenged."
I'll go back to my first point here: What attracts you to this scene? I
think that's important to know.
cheers
