This is a nice painting of a very interesting subject. Without any certainty
either, I agree with Lorraine that its impact could perhaps be further
increased by cropping the image so that the figures occupy most of the
picture plane, and by increasing the contrast between the figures and the
background, using less large areas of pure colors for the latter, insofar as
it remains true to this tropical subject

Really like that subject. 

 

I'd like the figure's colours to be more decisive and intense or saturated.

There is a small problem in the ground's perspective and it would have more
impact if more grayed or more drab. 

 

Maybe it would be a nice idea to see the subjects from nearer ? I don't know
what others think of that idea.

 

Just my opinion, maybe I'm wrong....
