[Aquanet] shrink wrap substitute

Clearbags.com works very well for me. If you are working in standard sizes,
it is far superior to shrink wrap, in my opinion. They do have a quantity
limit, and if you only need a few you'll need to find a re-packager. 16x20
bags can be used for 12x16 works, so you don't have to have both sizes of
bag.

For larger or odd sizes I use Gallery Wrap, 1 mil. It is a similar material
to the clear bags, comes in a variety of roll sizes. I just wrap tightly
and tape on the back with clear tape.

Now that shrink wrap is starting to turn into oil, what are you all using to
protect your artwork? If you are using those plastic envelopes, does anyone
have a company you order from who you would recommend? I decided today to
unwrap some of my work, scan it at high resolution for prints and then
rewrap. Well, the shrink wrap still on my roll is looking terrible! It is
even feeling sticky to the touch and I'm afraid to put it on my paintings,
even though they have a mat to hold the wrap away from the surface.

I am on a terribly tight budget right now and am wondering what to do. Any
suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
