[Aquanet] shrink wrap substitute

Now that shrink wrap is starting to turn into oil, what are you all using to
protect your artwork? If you are using those plastic envelopes, does anyone
have a company you order from who you would recommend? I decided today to
unwrap some of my work, scan it at high resolution for prints and then
rewrap. Well, the shrink wrap still on my roll is looking terrible! It is
even feeling sticky to the touch and I'm afraid to put it on my paintings,
even though they have a mat to hold the wrap away from the surface.

 

I am on a terribly tight budget right now and am wondering what to do. Any
suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
