[Aquanet] Masa paper

Masa paper looks like batik work when crumpled and then painted on.   First 
spray paper lightly with water, then crumple.  You can paint on it  wet or wait 
for it to dry.  Paint flows into the breaks in the sizing and  gives the 
effect of a Batik.  You can wet and crumple again after  that.  
 
After the painting is dry, then you can use wall paper paste to adhere it  to 
a heavier backing such as watercolor paper or board.  Cheung Kee Chee is  the 
expert on this and I watched him during a workshop in our area.  Cheap  Joes 
has a $10.00 book showing and explaining his techniques.
